Antidiabetes Drugs - This represents a moderate interaction of banaba powder with other drugs. Banaba improve the blood glucose-lowering capability of hypoglycemic drugs. Some anti diabetes medications include glyburide (Glynase PresTabs, Diabeta and Micronase), metformin (Glucophage), insulin, rosiglitazone (Avandia), glimepiride (Amaryl), pioglitazone (Actos) and other drugs.
