PROCESSING & PACKAGING

REGULAR POWDER: Herbs, Fruits, Vegetables; only dry and ground.

POWDER EXTRACT: Are solid preparation having powdery consistency obtain by evaporation of the solvent used for extraction. They may contain suitable added substances such as excipients, stabilizers, and preservatives. Extracts contain about 10-20% Malthodextrine Carrier and the solubility is mostly 50% water, 50% Ethanol…Fruits have better solubility than Herbs.

STANDARDIZED POWDER: Extracts are adjusted to the defined content of constituents, using suitables inert material or a powdered extract of the plant mater used for preparation. Were applicable, a limited for the solvent used for extraction is specified in the individual monograph.

RATIO: 4:1, 6:1, 10:1 etc… Part of the powder extract and regular powder with suitable added the higher the first numerical value the more potent.

Gamma irradiation is used for our sterilization (optional only when specified) organic is no longer organic when sterilized. When the product is sterilized the Total Plate Count goes down to 7,000 and yeast and Mold to 10. When the product is not sterilized, the Total plate count for a straight powder is up to 70,000, yeast, and mold 90 and for extracts about 20,000 or 10,000 and 90 for yeast and mold.

There are some gases for sterilization processes: ETO – gas (Ethylene Oxide) and GMO – (Genetically Modified Organisms) we do not use them.

We do not carry a Organic Certification…we do not work with that type of certification…All herb products are organic, no pesticides no herbicides…no preservatives, no gluten, none of that in other words Wild Crafted.

All bulk herb products are sold buy the kilo material is packed in a thick clear plastic using a cable tie to secure the contents. Different quantities of product will change the packing as to box size for shipment. A 1/k shipment comes in a box that is 5X5X5 with the following documentation packing slip, certificate of analysis (COA), allergen & GMO certificate and material safety data sheet (MSDS).
