How Rose Hip Works?

Rose hip consists of malic acid, citrus extract and pectin, which can have diuretic and purgative properties. However, the diuretic properties associated with rose hip are controversial. Vitamin C is needed for tissue repair and collagen production. It is an enzyme cofactor in the production of carnitine, tyrosine digestion, collagen, peptide hormones and norepinephrine system. Vitamin C is also included in oxidation-decrease reaction, transformation of folic acid to folinic acid, blend of lipids and proteins, cellular respiration, carbohydrate metabolism, imperviousness to contaminations and iron metabolism. It may be responsible for decreasing oxidants in gastric juice, acts as a antioxidant, decreasing lipid peroxidation and decreasing protein damage and also decrease in oxidative DNA. What Should Be the Dose/Administration of Rose Hip?

ORAL Particular dose of rose hips is used as a tea. To make such tea steep 2 to 2.5 grams of the crushed rose hips into hot boiling water (150 mL) for continuously 10 for 15 minutes and then strain. Rose hip with seed is the dried receptacle (hip) and ripe along fruit (seed) of different Rosa species which include white rose (Rosa alba), rose (Rosa canina), damask rose (Rosa damascena) and provence rose (Rosa centifolia). So don’t mix rose flower, vitamin C and also Cherokee rosehip.
